Abstract

Wounds that affect the entire thickness of the skin, including the deep dermis, heal with the formation of scars, which can be minimal or excessive, the most common being scars produced by acne. However, hypertrophic and keloid scarring have been a problem for surgeons since ancient times; Because the issue is not resolved, no treatment is completely safe, and research continues day by day. The development of a natural healing cream based on the purga mosquera is then proposed, due to its ancestral and scientifically proven properties and characteristics. In addition, commercial feasibility is established through a market study in Quito, La Delicia area with a survey of 18 questions applied to 383 people with questions about the product, price, place, and promotion. The results show an acceptance of the product of 92.7%, the preference of the 50ml plastic container and a price in a range of $ 16- $ 20 is observed. It is concluded that the elaboration of this product is feasible due to its benefits and level of acceptance, as well as because it is a blue ocean that contributes to the Ecuadorian collaborative economy.
