Abstract

The aim of this article is to determine the impact of hierarchical production planning on productivity in a chicken hatchery. The type of research is applied with a pre-experimental design. An initial evaluation determined that in the plant there is no adequate production planning as a generator of integral management, as a consequence it is inferred that the planning of operations is inadequate and limits the possible strategic options since it directly affects its productivity. . At the strategic level, future demand was determined, at the tactical level, a linear programming model with demand restrictions, labor force and extra production. It was concluded that the hierarchical planning of production contributed to the improvement of productivity, being evidenced by the increase in production. combined productivity index at 3.31%.
