Publication and authorship

The Magazine does not accept previously published material. The authors are responsible for obtaining the appropriate permissions to partially reproduce material (text, tables or figures) from other publications and to cite its provenance correctly. The contributions that appear here do not necessarily reflect the thinking of the Magazine. They are published under the responsibility of the authors. If the author of an article wishes to include it later in another publication, the journal in which it is published must clearly indicate the data of the original publication, with prior authorization requested from the Editor of the journal. The magazine has a review time between 8 to 16 weeks

Peer review process

Each of the articles received is subjected to a double blind peer review and selection process. The study and the initial selection of the writings are in charge of the Editorial Committee which accepts or rejects the originals based on the scientific quality, the agreement with the journal's own themes and the temporal validity of the results. In addition, the Editorial Committee may request modifications and make the recommendations deemed necessary to adjust the document to the indications of the Magazine. After this review, it will be submitted to double blind evaluation by two external academic peers; who will issue a concept that can be: it is approved without changes, it is approved subject to minor changes and does not require new evaluation, it is approved subject to major changes and it requires new evaluation and it is rejected and not publishable in the journal. In the event that controversies arise from the concept of the evaluators, these will be initially resolved by the Editor or if necessary, a second or third evaluation will be requested by academic peers.

The evaluation process requires the anonymity of both the authors and the evaluators. In the same way, this evaluation will be informed to the author of the article via email, in order to make the necessary adjustments that the evaluators have requested. Upon receipt of the article with the corrections made, the Journal will verify compliance with the evaluators' suggestions and will analyze the justifications for those that have not been taken into account. Once this phase is approved, the article will be sent again if necessary to the author to make any adjustments. The process of reviewing and accepting the delivered material can take an average of four months, and its reception does not imply its automatic approval and publication.

Code of ethics

Authors' duties
Originality and plagiarism: all articles must be original works of the authors and without evidence of plagiarism.

Recognition of sources: if the authors have used the work and / or words of others, they must be properly cited.

Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication: authors should not send the same article to more than one journal at the same time.

Access and retention: if the Editor or the members of the Editorial Committee consider it appropriate, the authors of the articles should also make available the sources or data on which the research is based, which can be kept for a reasonable period of time after of the publication and possibly become accessible.

Letter of originality

Editor's Duties
Publishing decisions: the Editor is responsible for deciding which of the articles sent to the Journal should be published. The publication decision must be guided by the policies of the Editorial Committee of the Journal and must be based exclusively on academic merit and the decision of the evaluators.

Honesty: Articles should be evaluated by the Editor for their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality: The Editor and any member of the editorial team should not disclose any information about the submitted article to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, editorial advisors, as appropriate.

Duties of evaluators
Contribution to editorial decisions: Peer review helps publishers make editorial decisions.

Punctuality: any selected evaluator who does not feel qualified or who knows that their prompt review will be impossible, must notify the Editor and excuse herself from the evaluation process.

Confidentiality: any item received for evaluation should be treated as a confidential document. It should not be shown or discussed with others, except with the permission of the Editor.

Standards of objectivity: evaluations must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Evaluators should clearly express their opinions with arguments.

Source recognition: Evaluators should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any argument that has been previously reported must be accompanied by the corresponding citation. The evaluator should also draw the Editor's attention to any substantial similarity or overlap between the article under consideration and any other published document of which he has personal knowledge.

 Conflict of interests

The Journal expects the authors to declare any commercial association that may pose a conflict of interest in connection with the submitted article. Due to the nature of the articles that may eventually be published in the journal, it is possible that opposing interests may arise that may affect impartiality in the editorial conditions or towards the authors; therefore, each author must make an effort to identify them.

In this sense, the authors must attach, together with the article and the commitment statement, a communication addressed to the journal expressing clearly and concisely if there are conflicts of interest, specifying each one of them. In this communication, they must also specify the source of funding for the research carried out; as well as the declaration of any commercial, financial or personal link that may affect the article or the publishing institution.

Duplication procedure

For the duplication of texts, which consists of the possibility of copying or reproducing textually, one or more times, a content or literary work, in a new medium (digital or any other format), the Journal uses the following procedure General: all editorial material, for which a duplication has been requested or determined, will be headed with a legend that clearly identifies its quality as a duplicate and that differentiates it from the original.

Procedure against originality and plagiarism

For the purposes of this policy, originality must be considered from two perspectives: the first, as the certainty that the work comes from who claims to be its author; the second, that it be novel and different from others previously created. The concept of plagiarism also refers to the fact that the work or article is distinguished from unauthorized copies, falsifications or derivations or from the unauthorized or appropriate use of fragments of other works.

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the originality of the articles contributed to the journal, as well as the veracity of the data and results included in them, expressing clearly and concisely that the contents are original and have not been copied, invented, distorted or manipulated.

The plagiarism or unauthorized use of external or third party content, in all its forms, is totally rejected by the Magazine; likewise, multiple or redundant publication are considered serious breaches of ethics.

The authors will refrain from sending to the Magazine, texts that have been put at the same time for consideration in another magazine; being possible to publish contents that extend others already published or under consideration, as long as the text on which it is based is duly cited.

 Errata

The errata faith applies only to cases where the journal has been effectively mistaken without the author's knowledge. The author has a series of cases where errors can and should be corrected such as the author's name, keywords, title and errors in the main text. The Journal presents the final proof of the revised article and is ready for publication to the author by correspondence in a period of one week for the revision and correction of the article. If the response period expires without the authors' return, the journal considers that the article has been approved (since the author has not expressed themselves about the need for changes / corrections), therefore it is ready for publication.

Conflict of interest events against evaluators

It is the responsibility of the evaluators to declare any conflict of interest that may arise in relation to the articles submitted for their consideration. The conflict of interest arises when, in front of a work put under consideration by an evaluator or by people who are part of the editorial team, there is a direct personal or professional relationship with its author, one of enmity, or a relationship of any kind with the investigation that gave rise to it; as well as a deep moral or ethical conflict with the subject under examination. In general, members of the editorial team and external evaluators must refrain from reviewing works when they incur any of these or similar situations.

The journal's editorial team will refrain from selecting evaluators against whom they are aware that they are or may be affected by any of these situations.

Evaluators confidentiality statement

Always, without exception, whoever makes an evaluation must consider it as completely confidential until its publication; therefore, it will not be possible for you to reveal any aspect of its content or your personal opinions throughout the review process and until the publication is finished.

It is clear that, in no case, it is possible to make public or use the information considered; as well as details, arguments or interpretations contained in the text under review, neither for their own benefit or that of third parties. Only in special and duly justified cases can you use the advice of experts in the field, a circumstance that must inform the Magazine.

The works that maintain a percentage less than 10% will proceed to the editorial and blind peer review.
