Resumen

Los incendios forestales han emergido como una problemática ambiental de creciente relevancia a escala global, con proyecciones que indican una exacerbación en su frecuencia e intensidad debido al cambio climático. La incidencia de estos eventos pirogénicos se concentra predominantemente durante los períodos de estiaje, cuando las condiciones ambientales propician una reducción en el punto de ignición del material vegetal, incrementando su susceptibilidad a la combustión.
